About the Campaign!
#WashSmarter Canada

Microfibers are tiny threads (<5 mm) that shed from our clothing.

Clothing can be made from either natural materials such as cotton, wool and linen, or from synthetic materials such as polyester, spandex and nylon. Synthetic materials are different types of plastic which means that when released into our environment, can be notorious pollution. 60% of clothing is made from synthetic materials.
